Reviews

BelSports This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.
Myron Clemons A film of deceptively outspoken contemporary relevance, this is cinema at its most alert, alarming and alive.
Juana what a terribly boring film. I'm sorry but this is absolutely not deserving of best picture and will be forgotten quickly. Entertaining and engaging cinema? No. Nothing performances with flat faces and mistaking silence for subtlety.
Yazmin Close shines in drama with strong language, adult themes.
Ellie I am a huge fan of the Hallmark Channel and its holiday movies. But this daytime show is the hands-down worst on television. The incessant mindless banter will give you a headache or have you reaching for the sauce. The hosts are very superficial and lack any substance or genuineness. Their over-the-top sugary way of speaking to the guests creates awkward exchanges where the guests themselves are uncomfortable. The hosts are incapable of creating an intelligent or interesting dialogue. Hallmark, you can do so much better than this. Or don't even try. Stick to what you're great at... wonderful feel-good movies. Your 2 hosts are less believable than any of the characters in your movies and are the main reason to change the channel at 10am each day.
mimisjam I am 82 and thought I was up to date. I was given a machine to record my cassettes and records on CD's. Yesterday they said CD's were out of date. My son and son-in-law just spent hundreds of dollars for this machine. I was so pleased. My car only has a CD player. I could play cassettes and CD's on my last car. I gave my last car to my granddaughter, when she graduated with her master's degree in engineering. She is still loving that car. Also I have a pack of 200 CD's to record my old music. I am down to the last stack. I did use them to make mobiles for the garden and to scare away the birds from my peach and fig tree. My sewing machine is 50 years old but still works great. I think you need to encourage people not to toss everything into the garbage dump. Granny
Susan Wilson The show is kind of an embarrassment. Let me count the ways: The banter is uncomfortable and sometimes borders on rude. The crafts are not original, but often claimed and celebrated as the original genius of the "expert". These "experts" come across as very self-absorbed - looking to start or revamp a career on television. Show segments are so rushed, they feel like they're trying to keep to keep the attention of an ADHD audience. Sorry, feels too much like a three ring circus. Can't imagine a huge audience for this show. Makes me wonder who's been paid to write positive reviews here, or trying to keep their career afloat. Not really worth the airtime. I'd rather watch reruns of Martha Stewart!
leokelli I understand Paige Davis had her issues, but methinks they "fixed" the wrong problem. Mark Steines is one of the worst hosts I think I've ever seen. He makes Bethanny look like Oprah. Between his false modesty, his cutting, underhanded remarks, and his fragile ego that Christina constantly works to salvage, I find myself sore from cringing. One morning, a crew member (I think her name was Lisa) was climbing a hill near the set for exercise. She commented how she'd never have to wear Spanx again after this workout, and Steines says "this ISN'T Magic Mountain". What a jerk!! Earlier that morning, Mark was showing how one could make a shelf out of an old book. He said "take a book you don't like or aren't interested in anymore" and he used Lisa's book she had written as his example! At that point I had to turn it off. I couldn't watch anymore, and haven't watched since. If that's his idea of humor, I'm not interested.
