deedeerbug I am constantly looking for this series on DVD and have had no luck finding it. I absolutely loved this series. It is where I first saw one of my favorite celebrity crushes Kyle Chandler. I would love to own this on DVD. Why isn't it on DVD??

This was one of the finest written shows on TV bu it seem as if not many people knew about it. It might take a cult following to resurrect the show via DVD. With Kyle Chandler now on Frdiay Night Lights, it would seem that you could market this enough to make it worth marketing on DVD.One of the best shows on TV. STEPHNJEFF "Homefront" was the BEST show EVER on TV!!!! It had humor and drama and such a good story and the cast was outstanding (especially Kyle Chandler, who will always be Jeff Metcalf to me). I followed every one of them and knew all their names years after the show ended. I love them all...they did such an excellent job. I can't say enough about Homefront and I actually mourned its ending. We did tape one of the marathons. I will always remember this show and there will never be another one like it. Shame on ABC for moving it around so much. I tried to tell people to watch it, but no one could keep up with the time slots. BIG mistake. But, we must accentuate the positive. Homefront should be a role model for the industry!!!!!

bratto14 I absolutely loved this show. My son of 18 at the time told me to watch it. I declined as usual because every show I started watching at the time was canceled within 13 weeks. I did finally give in and watched it later in the season. I was hooked. I did watch the summer reruns and the next season. I was heartbroken when it was canceled. I have been looking for it on reruns ever since. Last year I found it on Cable GoodLife TV and have recorded every episode. I watch it over and over again. I think if it had lasted another year it might have caught on. I do not understand why has taken so long to come out on DVD. Should be in everyone's library. It is well acted, well directed, well cast and as short as it was great history of the times. Would love to see it on a more popular cable station as well as DVD.
