Synopsis

Imagination Movers is a Live-action Pre-school television series that premiered on September 6, 2008 on Disney Channel. The program was originally part of the Playhouse Disney daily block intended for preschoolers. On February 14, 2011, it was moved to the Disney Junior block, serving as Playhouse Disney's replacement. The Imagination Movers TV series is based on the format and music of the New Orleans based music group Imagination Movers who both act and are co-executive-producers of the show. On May 30, 2011, it was announced that the series will end after the remaining episodes of the third season have aired, though the band itself will continue and is open to doing other projects. On November 28, 2011 the Movers ran an announcement on official Facebook page implying that they have been given the green light to air more new episodes of the show in 2012.

Tedfoldol everything you have heard about this movie is true.
Whitech It is not only a funny movie, but it allows a great amount of joy for anyone who watches it.
Nicole I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.
whitneycasey So happy these guys are making great kids music that is cool for the parents too! We just went to their concert and they are SO talented! They genuinely like kids. They don't have to fake what they do. We love their show and their music and we're so excited that our son loves them. They're not only great entertainers but the nicest people too. They really can't be compared to any other show out there... I haven't met anyone who doesn't like these guys! (until I read the two reviews on this page from someone who doesn't like hip hop, and someone who might not understand north American culture...) but aside from those two people; I think north America loves these guys! Hopefully we will get to see these guys for years to come!
carindiller The Imagination Movers is a truly wonderful children's show! The music gets my kids up and dancing every day! Plus, the stories are fun and interesting.....and even a little bit of sneaky education is thrown in! :) They really do get the imagination going! Both of my children "brainstorm" daily for solutions to their problems! Plus, their music is catchy enough that I find myself listening to their CD's in the van when I'm alone! They are a true example of the American dream....they lost pretty much all they had in Katrina and pursued their dream of the Movers as a way to reach children! If you haven't checked out the Movers yet, what are you waiting for??? Season 3 starts on Valentine's Day 2011!
srl2 My three year old son and five year old daughter love the Imagination Movers. My daughter always laughs because she tries to come up with new ideas to complete tasks like they do. The kids love music and are always creating things and asking me if they sound like the Imagination Movers.. it is hilarious.I believe that this show is definitely suitable for the Disney Channel here in the United States, we love that there is no commercials and that it is kid centric. My husband and I are very welcome to the program, although the kids are only allowed to watch age appropriate television and they both think Imagination Movers is one of the best.Way to bring music back to kids programs and show kids it is OK to come up with ideas that could be wrong and it is okay to come up with several ways to solve problems.
timhoustontx My daughter (almost 3) enjoys it but doesn't really get most of it.The music -- sometimes it reminds me of the B52's -- anyone know why?? In any case, the stories are kind of cute but not particularly meaningful. And Nina is the cutest, although somewhat passive and muted while the 4 white guys jump around and do stuff.I'm not overly "PC" but somehow would like to see more balance...not a token minority role just real diversity. I know parts of America are still mostly White, but where I grew up had lots of Native Americans. Where I live and work now, the Whites are no longer the majority but there are very many Latinos, Blacks, Indians, East Asians, etc. And, maybe more important, increasing numbers of MIXED, ethnically ambiguous people. How did this modern show get away with being all white except the cute semi-Hawaiian secretary girl?
