Pluskylang Great Film overall
Sameer Callahan It really made me laugh, but for some moments I was tearing up because I could relate so much.
Sienna-Rose Mclaughlin The movie really just wants to entertain people.
Marva-nova Amazing worth wacthing. So good. Biased but well made with many good points.
Shaun Scanlon When i purchased this Box set, i didn't know what to expect, i only saw the opening scene of Jackass: The Movie. I thought there would be a lot of vomiting and filthy stunts. I was right. But their was a lot of absolutely funny stunts. My favourite stunt is the BMX Joust in Volume 1. That stunt includes my favourite quote "Bam you will feel a lot of my lance, in your ass". There's a lot of pain in it, especially for Johnny Knoxville. My only disappointment in the box set is that there is a lot of pointless stunts such as the sexercise bike, Wee-man doing the "Wee Hand" (he just shows you his hand) Johnny Knoxville and Co. really need to make more of Jackass TV shows. After "Jackass: Number Two" they should concentrate on Making a few more volumes of Jackass.
Jackson Booth-Millard This is one of the most silly but very entertaining ideas ever created. Basically a bunch of American guys perform stupid, funny and sometimes dangerous like stunts. They have had puking, bruises, broken arms and legs and some blood performing some of these stunts, but all are as funny as the first. Starring Johnny Knoxville who does nearly anything, Bam Margera who does anything, but also plays jokes on his parents Phil and April, Steve-O, Chris Pontius sometimes playing Party Boy and Bunny the Life Guard, Ryan Dunn, Ehren McGhehey, fat Preston Lacy, Jason Acuña, or Wee Man, Dave England, Jeff Tremaine (directed the movie) and Rick Kosick. The Christmas Special was number 49 on The 100 Greatest Christmas Moments. Good!
Ed_lover Jackass is still the best extreme show ever. Better than Dirty Sanchez, Wildboyz or Viva La Bam, although those are good as well. It's not good only because there are cool stunts in it, but it's also very funny, and there is good friendship between the guys. I guess it's clumsily shot at times, but that comes with the whole "reality" thing, I guess. There have been extreme videos before Jackass, most notably in the skateboarding world. But this is still the show that brought extreme to mainstream.I mentioned other shows that are part of the whole "extreme" phenomenom, and good series in their own right. The reason why Jackass is better than any of them is the fact that it's incredibly varied. Instead of doing more or less the same thing again and again, the guys were really inventive and tried as many different stunts as possible. Highly recommended.
Gygax_Jr Jackass would have to be one of the greatest shows of our time. This is laugh-out-loud stuff because, lets face it, people getting hurt is funny. The other gags (where people dont get hurt) are also amusing. Fun for all the family. Jackass is hard to beat in the comedy/stupidity/vile genre and is only outclassed by the New Zealand show 'Back of the Y' which is basically the same thing only with a (very weak)storyline.9.5 out of 10.
