Synopsis

Young Johnny is gung-ho and full of courage. Johnny's brainiac twin sisters, Susan and Mary, use Johnny as their guinea pig for their outrageous scientific experiments. If they can dream it up, Johnny will do it; as long as his genetically engineered super dog, Dukey, can come along.

ScoobyWell Great visuals, story delivers no surprises
GazerRise Fantastic!
AutCuddly Great movie! If you want to be entertained and have a few good laughs, see this movie. The music is also very good,
PiraBit if their story seems completely bonkers, almost like a feverish work of fiction, you ain't heard nothing yet.
mitsubishizero In the beginning of this show it was fine, however in the later seasons the problems became more apparent: First of the main characters are mostly unlikable, particularly the title character. Johnny comes off as whiny and bratty for most of the series. He's lazy and always wants to get out of work by using his sisters' inventions or experiments to do the work for him. His dog Dukey and sister Mary are probably the only likable characters as they aren't as annoying as the rest of the characters in this show as they seem to be more level headed and funny. The supporting characters seem to be one dimensional and total throwaways in general such as Gil and Eugene (Aka Bling bling). The plots seem to be mostly rehashed from other shows and they don't always do a good job making something new out of them. The animation's not bad but it's also not great either: In the first season it was fine but after that the animation quality decreased. Probably the worst offender is the last season where the characters move faster than expected. They are animated using flash animation which can be very hit or miss. Bottom line, thank god it was canceled as it wasn't all that good anyway.
humanistheart Just found this show this month. I've gone through the first 4 seasons and am enjoying it a lot more than I would have expected for a show with a cartoon dog in it.To those who are bashing it in long paragraphs I assume you are trolls with no life. I mean really. Who writes several pages on how they hate a kids show?
simpsonfan-35258 And how it made it into production astounds me. The main character is an obnoxious show off who isn't the least bit funny. I can't stand the character at all. He's a dumb ass with nothing to offer the show. This is the worst cartoon to surface in the last 10 years, no joke. The story lines are both poorly written and executed. The jokes are as bad as the ones on Disney's Sweet Life of Zack and Cody. I could not dislike this show more, it's terrible and should be canceled. Even the theme song is bad. The title, even worse. It's as though this show is written by a couple of 15 year olds that based the character on themselves and think they're hot stuff when they're really just arrogant and lack creativity as well as humor.Johnny Test, go away far and fast!
connor-sosnoski What was once good and decently enjoyable...is now crap. Remember when the animation was fluent and when the show was own by KidsWB? Well, that's the past. This is NOW. It's unbelievable that this show has almost lasted longer than Ed Edd n' Eddy due to the mediocrity of J.T. The animation was good, but over the years, it slowly started to get worse. Seriously, compare the show's current season to season one. Major difference. The humor? Also now crap. The show was alright up until everyone's voices changed. But now, I can barely get a laugh or two in only one episode. Let's not even start on the whip sound effect and how often it's used.
