morsaceamare I watched all the S01 16 episodes. I agree with "lanechanger"'s judgement - it's a wonderful show - with all it transmits - EXCEPT:I do not reside in USA, as such, I'm not compelled to respect the politically correctness rules.SO, I dare to state this: the series would of been MUCH better with the ORIGINAL casting for the angel. YES, I know, an African-american gives rating in Main-City USA, but the simple know-how of actoring should've give pause to whoewer asked to distribute ONLY by structure of ethnic diversity. SORRY, not EVERY role can be fulfilled by ANY actor. Shakespeare's Julia and Romeo cannot be credibly portrayed by African-americans. There is a sky-to-earth difference even to the plain simple acting. The replacement (PC Afro-American) acts it into the "comedie-bouffe" so she relies to "make it funny - whatever it costs" and by this - she makes it REALLY unfunny. Why should I laugh at a "tortured" joke, when no State Power obliges me? Forever I will regret that the "Original" guide angel never made the cut...Well - enough is enough. I don't want (necessarily) to be banned from posting commentaries, so I'll stop here. But, if it really happens, that's it - t'was a hell of a ride...Best regards, morsaceamare

DesmondQu Likable characters, good acting all around, decent camera work.... but the storyline is just so boring, and nothing in this show is remotely funny, the pacing is super slow, everyone and everything feels generic, and it progressively gets more preachy and repetitive. This is a show for elder generations that are used to mindless soap opera or one-case-a-week TV, I imagine the moms and grand parents would think this show is funny, but if you are used to movie level well produced shows from HBO or Netflix originals then WALK AWAY. The bar of good TV is getting higher and higher, if you want to watch a family friendly comedy I recommend The Good Place or Life in Pieces, if you dont mind adult jokes then go for The Detour, The Mick, Veep or Shameless.

melee3 Oh wait--there is one! It's called Kevin (Probably) Saves the World. Unfortunately, we may not know if he is able to save the show as it may not be renewed for another season. And that is really too bad. People complain that there is nothing worthwhile on TV, that there is too much sex and violence, but then when there is a good, fun show on that surprises you each week, not enough people watch it. Is it because it isn't advertised enough or that the competition is too much? I don't know, but here is what everyone is missing: 1. Just plain silly fun--physical comedy, quirky characters, and a guy who has a hard time adulting all the time. 2. Kindness--his job is to help other people. He does so in simple ways, complicated ways, crazy ways, and heart-warming ways. Some of the episodes start off with a feeling like "oh, oh, jumped the shark already" and then there is a plot twist and you love it all over again. 3. No need to squirm at scenes if watching with your children. 4. A feeling that just possibly our lives have a purpose and maybe, even if we mess up, people will forgive us and things might get better. If this doesn't get renewed, I will truly miss Kevin and Tyler, but I have learned good lessons from them so it will not be a waste. Here's hoping it gets renewed and we find out if the world gets saved.

mrsbeasley-79259 My husband and I watch every show each week and we watch it the next day on VUDU. We bought the complete season. Love the whole cast, especially Tyler and Kevin. Tyler is lovable and very loyal to his good friend Kevin. Yvette is so cute! I hope ABC renews it. Putting it in a better time slot would end up making it a huge hit as many people don,t know about the show.
