This is one of the few movies I've ever seen where the whole audience broke into spontaneous, loud applause a third of the way in.

Story: It's very simple but honestly that is fine.

I really like this show, but why does many people hate this show? Lets go in to it (WARNING - SPOILERS)1 - DORA RIPOFFIt was an original idea, and it was not a Dora ripoff2 - FAN JUNKA lot of hate messages but if rotten tomatoes rates it, i say a 34%3 - HOT DOG DANCEOne of the positive things, instead of just the show credits coming when the episode was over, a dance is played, called the Hot Dog Dance, then the credits after it ends4 - SHAKE SHAKE YOUR PEANUTIn Goofy's Petting zoo, there was a controversial dance to make the elephant go down the tree, which Mickey says "A peanut for Donald A peanut for Goofy, and a Peanut for you (Breaks the fourth wall)"then says "shake shake your peanut, the critics say "Shake Shake your d**k"5 - FINAL MESSAGEI give it a 9 star, i would give it 10 stars if the hate mail is not received

A great example of Disney rolling downhill. I hate this. IT ruined the most famous cartoon icon of all time. The writers make the characters bug you by making a kid scream at the TV a la Dora, and it needs no explaning. the writing is bad,the popular iconic characters are butchered,and... wait for it.... It is Disney's version of Dora!!!! But,it is worse. IT ruins Mickeys fame and it is not Mickey mouse. the real Mickey has kind hearted and memorable characters and slapstick. Mickey Mouse Ciubhouse is lazy writing, stupid concepts and It try to be Mickey, but it fails badly.I loath this and you should back away from this and watch the newer Mickey shorts on Disney channel,or watch Steamboat Willie. This shows how greedy these new folks at Disney could be. Your subsidiary,Pixar has a great fan base and awesome movies and does not care about money. But,this show is a way to get money and to ruin a popular icon.

My kid really likes the show, it has catchy tunes and is highly stimulating visually. I take issue with some things though and limit her watching it. The first is regarding purposed problem solving teachings, anytime they are in a bind some magical device flies to them and fixes problems in often unrealistic ways. Mickey says "don't worry, we can always call on toodles". I'm all about preparing kids for real life in due time, including not setting up unrealistic beliefs and this "Toodles"reliance is part of that. The animation is overly stimulating with intense colour. These type of "enriched" shows captivate but over stimulate the young viewers and CAN set a very unrealistic precedent for real life learning environments where their attention can not be held. The story plots are lacking any significance, and the teachable moments are weak. I also find the female characters have the typical stereo-type of the sweet good-girl types who wear dresses and run a hair accessory store, and are less brainy than mickey. Rather traditional in my opinion. Overall this show is okay, nothing offencive violent sexual etc, but it's just entertaining fluff.

Okay, so Disney can still pump out some good movies, but when it comes to kids cartoons, they are freaking doomed. What IS this crap? The animation looks someone cluttered on a piece of paper, wiped his/her ass with it and then decided to include it in the final product! But strangely enough, that's the LEAST worst part. The story lines are just boring, overly formulaic and makes no sense. The characters are reduced to be either unrealistically sugar-sweet or total cockalorums (the latter most applied to Mickey Mouse), which would be fine if it was used for comedic abilities, but it's not. NOT. AT. ALL. Also, what have they done to Donald Duck? He was easily the most developed, the most interesting and the most three-dimensional character in the Disney- universe, but you know what? Now he's just like everybody else. Overly happy-go-lucky, kind to everyone and never EVER looses his temper. How did that happen?? It's not realistic, kids KNOW everybody gets mad sometimes, even Dalai Lama probably had a anger moment in his life. So why do they decide to go the weird route that EVERYBODY acts like the super-nicest human being? I always hate that about new kids cartoons, that everyone is just happy all the time for no reason. Also, since when is Mickey friends with Black-Pete? That's just stupid, they are supposed to be enemies! Hell, he even asks Mickey for help in one episode, which is probably the worst moment on this "show" there is. Despite all these examples, I have STILL not gotten to the worst part yet. Oooooh no. You know what REALLY makes me mad? All the other factors are god-awful, but what truly makes me rate this 1 is the goddamn songs! The singing voices are horrible, the lyrics are either super-clichéd or stereotyped (like Minnie singing about her bow tique, just because she wears a bow and is a female). For some reason they also just contain words that aren't even words, but just sounds like something a brain-dead retard would come up with, like "Mickey Muska Mouse". "Muska"? Learn your kids to speak real English. No, I'm just saying, for the love of God, turn your kids away from this show or they'll NEVER appreciate true classics like the old Spongebob-episodes, the REAL Mickey Mouse- cartoons from the 40's or Rocko's Modern Life. If you start loving this show, reconsider your life.
