Alicia I love this movie so much
Kidskycom It's funny watching the elements come together in this complicated scam. On one hand, the set-up isn't quite as complex as it seems, but there's an easy sense of fun in every exchange.
FirstWitch A movie that not only functions as a solid scarefest but a razor-sharp satire.
Claire Dunne One of the worst ways to make a cult movie is to set out to make a cult movie.
blairkuneman It is a great movie. Themes, topics and characters are great. We love them all. We want them back!!! Nothing wrong with a good sci-fiction movie. Many crap thriller movies are not cancelled. Even cartoons (unrealistic) are on TV for years. Whoever gave a low rate or negative review to this great show have limited minds. For the FOX group- In order to make a decision make sure you reach everyone's opinion as far as possible. Not just the small closed mind group. Poor marketing, poor analysis and poor statistics skills or none. The marketing department (whoever) did a very bad job or may be it was all crap from the inside FOX company to cancel it. Objectively..Those negatives comments sound from people with very limited mind. No-one needs those comments. Most movies are crap with many strong scenes. This was good. Improve marketing skills. The movie was awesome!!! We want season 2, more episodes. Such a mistake. FOX sucks!! Bring back the whole series. Themes, topics and characters.
rikuriku-87175 I read a few comments on this website where people compared the TV version with the movie and commented that the TV version should stick with the same theme as the movie. I actually disagree. The movie talked about whether people should be arrested for crimes they haven't committed because future can be changed. The TV version discussed that as well but focused more on whether the world should sacrifice 3 people to save thousands. However, the entire TV version has nothing to do with the 'minority report'. This term only showed up in the last episode. So really, why spend a fortune buying the license when instead they can create a whole new story by altering the structure slightly. For people who watched the movie they actually had high hopes with the TV version continuing the movie;s plots. Well at least audiences would not be as negative if this TV series has a different name I guess. Two characters I dislike the most are Dash and Vega, but unfortunately they are the leading roles. Vega acted badly, or I guess they could have picked a better looking actress, whereas Dash's character was just plane stupid. There are too many weak spots in the plot as well. Examples: if Vega has the heat sensing technology why don't she use it more often? Sometimes Vega just forgotten that she has this function in her VR contact lens and put herself and her partner at risk in the crime scenes. She knew showing the octopus tattoo drawing in front of Blake would expose Dash and she still insisted on doing it. Dash is too arrogant, it's quite simple logic that if he lays low, he won't risk exposing himself, Arthur and Agatha, plus saving more lives in long term. But I guess he is too much of a good person that just has to save this next victim even if it means he'll get caught and won't be able to save the thousands of victims after he got caught and gets put to jail. If he is that worried about other people's life why don't he turn himself in and keep saving more people living in the milk bath? Even without the other two he could still help right, like he's been helping Vega? And at the end, he doesn't want to kill Blomfeld but he has to sacrifice Vega. While Blomfeld only works for money and Vega could save more lives doing her job, it's not a tough decision right?I had many questions in my mind while watching the TV series, but I did indeed watch all the episodes so I guess it's not that bad after all.
SnoopyStyle It's 2065 some 10 years after the movie 'Minority Report'. Dash (Stark Sands) is one of the Precogs. He is in the city trying to stop the murders in his vision. He catches the attention of police Det. Lara Vega (Meagan Good). She hides his abilities from her supervisor Lt. Will Blake (Wilmer Valderrama). The other Precogs are opposed to Dash's missions. Arthur (Nick Zano) has used his powers to amass a small underworld empire while protective Agatha (Laura Regan) is worried about being forced into a reconstituted PreCrime program. The show has some inherent difficulties. As a TV show, it could never muster the production values to compete with the original movie. It pales in comparison. It was probably a big mistake to take the show back to Washington or any city for that matter. The budgetary need is beyond the scope of the show.I do find the story continuation interesting. It's probably better as a serial but the show keeps trying to make it into a procedural. The premise is too unstable to maintain a workplace procedural with their secret identities. There are ways around it but the show would really have to stretch to maintain the same premise for any extended amount of time.
Paola Dee I'm a junkie. It doesn't even have to be really good stuff. I'll consume it... As long as the hook is Sci-fi. Rare is it so painful that I can't bear it.I think I'd rather pluck every hair off my arms than endure another moment of Minority Report. I don't know what is more painful, Meagan Good's disturbing eye-brows or her horrendous acting. And I simply cannot explain my irrational desire to slap Stark Sands upside the head - like my Nonna use to do when we behaved like idiots. Maybe it's because he's always on the verge of crying... It's just so annoying.I'm never going to get those hours back. Hours better spent doing laundry, dusting, polishing silverware... Anything else, really. But if I can spare you the wasted time, I'm happy to!
