Hellen I like the storyline of this show,it attract me so much
GamerTab That was an excellent one.
YouHeart I gave it a 7.5 out of 10
Nessieldwi Very interesting film. Was caught on the premise when seeing the trailer but unsure as to what the outcome would be for the showing. As it turns out, it was a very good film.
WadiDosiTosk Boring, un-imaginative, horrible writing, bad CGI-animation, most overrated cartoon from France and South Korea. These are words that immediately come to mind when thinking about this show. Transformation sequences, if you can even call them that, ala Mysticons, a love story taken straight from other successful cartoons, a Winx-Club-esque relationship between two children falling in love with each other but at the same time being too shy to confess their feelings for one another and clichés that have been used before, and over 40 episodes in which lame knock-off Marvel villains fight against 2 children with superpowers are all what awaits the viewer. The dynamic bares another similarity with Marvel comics, as Ladybug fills in the Spider-Man role (without the tragic Uncle Ben backstory, though), while Chat Noir (obviously, if the name wasn't already a big hint) is the Black Cat to Ladybug's Spider-Man. The worst of all is the danger of losing millions of brain cells once the viewer has finished the whole seasons.Netflix made the worst decision of the year with acquiring the rights to the show and showing it to America's audience (while at the same time not following up on the World of Winx season 2 cliffhanger). Here is hope that the writing team step up their game before the show meets its ultimate cancelation, which will undoubtedly happen, should this bore-fest continue.
scollure It's an amazing love story and overall an intriguing idea- you WILL like this show if you have the patience to watch all the episodes. It's funny, romantic, has good comedy, good visuals, etc. The two main characters balance each other out perfectly (Good luck and creation, a ladybug, bad luck and destruction, a black cat)The only complaints I could possibly have is a) Chat is portrayed as useless and doesn't receive enough attention, and he's one of the deepest characters, and b) the villain's names are incredibly stupid, and sometimes their powers are too (Mr. Pigeon?! Despair Bear?!). Yes, it is a slight cliche, but it works overall for the show. This is really moving and beautiful, and I love it. The fanbase and fandom are definitely worth exploring.
reaganjeanellefanmail When I first watched it, I was so into it. Miraculous Ladybug is indeed a miraculous for all fans of this show.
Fireberries What I saw: The entire first season mainly in French with English subtitles, some in the English dub and some Korean dub with English subtitles ---I don't mind that the show starts off with little to no background information on where the powers came from, who Hawk Moth is or why any of this is happening. What does bother me is why we're only getting this information as the season final? That's far too many episodes when the series is otherwise very formulaic.I had almost completely abandoned the series because of lack-of- backstory-and-character-development titchy-ness. Comparing the series to the drips of back-information we get from something like Steven Universe, Ladybug just increasingly seemed as through it would be a cut-and-dry formulaic series where we get little to no plot advancements or character developments whatsoever.Having said that, I'm a sucker for Magical Girl series and yes, I fell for our protagonists in their cute romcom subplot, so I continued nonetheless hoping for something. My main problem with the series isn't even the lack of backstory, it's a character. Her name is Chloe. She never learns from her mistakes, and she's responsible for half of the Akumas. I hope she gets some character development soon because her cliché arse is seriously doing my nut in. Minor annoyances include; The animation. While it looks good for the most part with attractive designs, it does have some strange points where there seems to be far too much movement. I've read some of the history behind it's development and apparently, it was conceived to be a 2D anime-style show. Apparently the anime-estique comedic movements don't translate well from 2D to CG. If that's what they're supposed to be The dialogue. I have no problems with the voice acting from any of the versions I watched, but some of the dialogue can get weird. It's especially evident in the English language version and I can't tell if it's just because I'm an English speaker, or that the dubbing dialogue was just weirder. I don't have the time to actually compare so I can only guess The spandex costumes. I have no real problem with the paper-thin disguises, but I can't help but find "Teens In Spandex" a little odd. They're what? 14? 16 at the oldest? but at least there's no "panty shots" like other Magical Girl series (looking at you, Japan). ---On a final note, I'm glad I stuck with it. It's given me some decent giggles with the romcom aspects (I can be a sucker so long as it's packaged with magic and action), and I am interested in who Hawk Moth is and what his game is. Though, I am dismayed that Season 2 won't start airing until 2017.I try to be very strict with ratings so my overall rating for this is 6/10 Stars. Starting off as only 3 Stars, it has grown on me to a degree where I would continue to follow the series, and even giving it one whole star above the minimum for "I will watch this" just for my giggles.I hope that Season 2 would give the series another star because there's potential that I'd like to see explored
