Simple and well acted, it has tension enough to knot the stomach.

Not too impressed with this show at all. Did I blink and miss Davina McCall on the DVD of this? Because I didn't see her anywhere!? She's the main reason I bothered checking this DVD out, I think she's brilliant when she presents Big Brother. Anyway, usually I'm a fan of prank-style humour but this show is tedious and so unpolished. Just not funny, sorry. I had to fast forward through most of the DVD when I rented it. Don't pay to see this unless you're under the age of 17, or unless you're a fan of very unsophisticated humour. Maybe the original series, with Davina, was funny? I wouldn't know. But this series, the one made here in the States, is simply LAME.

Oh my gosh, I love this show. It is the best! I don't usually laugh a lot off T.V. shows but this one is so hilarious. Regan Burnes' impressions are hilarious, he has really funny jokes and does a lot of funny faces and has wacky costumes. Since the show is only aired on Spike, the people that are on it aren't really familiar with the host. Any ways, the plot goes like this. The host Regan Burnes, pretends to play as an employee or manager in a certain job (ex: clown, hotel clerk, black jack dealer, priest) and asks 5 questions to someone who he might approach or someone who approaches him. He doesn't just ask the questions straight out, he talks and makes jokes with them during the conversation and asks them so they wont get too suspicious. Every question they get right earns them $20. Also, the first person who he finds on his first act will get a chance to dress up like the certain person in the occupation he just did and play the same trick to the next person who they see. Every question the person they approach gets right earns the person who is getting asked the questions $20 per and the person who is asking them $100. Also, there is a lightning round where Regan plays the trick on two people that compete against each other for 60 secs and get asked question after question. The winner of the lighting round gets $20 for each question as long is a bonus question worth $100.

this is a must see T.V. show. Regan burns makes it so funny at commercial breaks when he walks up to people and asks them a question. if the get it right he gives them 20 bucks and the person has a strange look on there face. i love the parts when he has the person take his place and ask questions to them. i only started watching it a couple weeks ago. i recommend that people watch this show. it's got laughs. its got confusion when your trying to answer a question. it's got it all. people when they find out have big surprised faces on going "huh, whats going on". because there Oblivious. i hope people watch and laugh like i do. the first day i saw at my aunts (she has digital cable) it was showing all day till 11 o'clock at night.

I had not seen this show until recent (2004) reruns. It has quickly become a "must watch" for me. The humor is fresh, and much of it spontaneous. It may follow somewhat in the format of other shows (e.g. Candid Camera), but with the game show twist manages to give an appearance of originality. Most of the credit must go to Regan Burns, who is very gifted. I hope we will see much more of him in other projects in the future. He has a natural talent for humor, and carries the physical aspects wonderfully e.g. the pommel horse demo. He manages to develop a good relationship with his victims, and thus the pranks don't come off seeming mean spirited. Some of the best moments in the show are the reactions of the people on the street to receiving unexpected $20 bills.
