Interesteg What makes it different from others?
Hadrina The movie's neither hopeful in contrived ways, nor hopeless in different contrived ways. Somehow it manages to be wonderful
Janae Milner Easily the biggest piece of Right wing non sense propaganda I ever saw.
Hattie I didn’t really have many expectations going into the movie (good or bad), but I actually really enjoyed it. I really liked the characters and the banter between them.
outtheseries For the most part, the show is funny and hits difficult topics. I see the attempt to stay true to Veteran problems and the family is pretty good at keeping Cuban culture in the house, though i believe none of the cast is Cuban. Some episodes (scripts) don't seem to stay true to the character. Rita Moreno does a fantastic job playing the Cuban grandmother, but in the episode "Roots" she lacks on keeping to who she should be. Majority of Cubans are proud to be in America and equally be proud to be American. Difficult decision to renounce citizenship of Cuba is valid but they could have changed it up. The episode left you not knowing who Lydia or Penelope voted for which was fine with me, in this Trump voter bashing culture, I can see why this show doesn't go as far as Tim Allen's 'Last Man Standing'. Lydia would have been the perfect pro-Trump Cuban in the house, and this would have brought better conflict on the show between characters. Cuban's are not Puerto Rican's or Mexican's, you cannot base their character's in that light. If the show continues, (which i hope it does, I am a fan of all the characters) I hope the writers do a better job researching the politics of Cuban's. There is a huge reason why Lydia's generation of Cuban would have voted for Trump. I think the show should be a bit more bold in this political climate and it should stay true to that.
deanna-53391 Haha this show is great! There are really no better words for this than what the new full house should have been. This is pretty much full house if everyone was hispanic instead of white but without the white target audience and with a few hilarious adult undertones. Even my brother who usually only watches fighting, racing, and other stereotypically boy shows, say this show and now we watchbit together. It focuses on family while gathering around the family and it has small morals, every episode is a new deliemma while still relatable (XD they even use actual labels like the kid selling World's Finest chocolate bars for school fundings). There is sad moments but they properly pick you up with comedy and they do not let the comedy drown the sad moments or seriousness out. I love how they took someone who is a white hipster (who is just so obsessed with being a part of their family) and added him to a very cultural cuban family.
facepunchercm It's a shame really. The writing might not be the best, the acting sometimes might not be... well, good. But it's just a fun show. It's a genuinely enjoyable show. It is though, cancerously liberal. There's legit so much b.s. in the show that I feel bad. Nothing's stopping me from watching it, but it get really annoying.
pointman73111 I really enjoy the show, it has fun stories and lovable characters, but stop pushing liberal agenda down Americans' throats. Why does every show with minorities have to be anti Trump and anti gun? Ridiculous.
