SparkMore n my opinion it was a great movie with some interesting elements, even though having some plot holes and the ending probably was just too messy and crammed together, but still fun to watch and not your casual movie that is similar to all other ones.
2freensel I saw this movie before reading any reviews, and I thought it was very funny. I was very surprised to see the overwhelmingly negative reviews this film received from critics.
Brendon Jones It’s fine. It's literally the definition of a fine movie. You’ve seen it before, you know every beat and outcome before the characters even do. Only question is how much escapism you’re looking for.
Tyreece Hulme One of the best movies of the year! Incredible from the beginning to the end.
johnkasdorf-1 Tig Notaro's infamous 2012 stand-up set at Largo proved that cancer, like anything else, can be funny. Yes, it can. Yes, it can. If you disagree, cool. But you're wrong. That's like saying "broccoli doesn't taste good." Maybe not to you, but to someone, broccoli is delicious. Comedy is subjective, and a joke based on any topic or situation, no matter how horrible or distasteful to you, has the potential be funny to someone. Maybe not you. That's fine. But someone. Trying to apply a "cancer isn't funny" rule is preposterous, conceited, and futile.Okay, here's my opinion of the show, if you care. The second season was weaker than the first. Plot lines started to feel splintered and diverged from the main character's story. Common pitfall of many second season shows. I guess this was more of a rebuttal to another reviewer than a straightforward helpful review. Hope it doesn't keep you up at night.Insomnia isn't funny.
Naquita Brown I watched the trailer and I really believe this will be a good show. This is my first time hearing of Tig and from what I have seen on the trailers its a movie that definitely catches my attention. My daughters are suppose to be playing extras for a wedding. Can't wait to watch this N. Brown
zzr-13812 I can tell what the production intends to do. Trying to shock audience and added some gentle comedy. For me it is just not funny, not touched, even a little annoying and uncomfortable for me. The story is also slow, I am sure if you miss many episodes, you still would catch up the story. Actually there is no story at all, the whole show just describes the awkward and unpleasant situation by the unreal conversation and annoying scene.I can tell what the production intends to do. Lesley J Morris Like most, I was looking for something to escape the everyday, I found it in One Mississippi. The realism is very intriguing, but more so is the ease of how each episode comes across. Writing and making it work on film is a talent, and there's lots of talent here. I had not heard of Tig Notaro before, I had no expectations. I wasn't hooked at first, but that soon changed. Notaro is true to herself, while portraying the angst of human nature, dealing with a haunting past and walking into an uncertain future, she brings it full circle in this dynamic and funny series. I applaud Amazon for taking this series up, and hope it continues, because I will continue to watch!
