This series is not truly awful, but I find it's secretly a lot worse than most people think. I have to give credit where credit is due, and there is a lot of good to the show. The voice-acting is mostly on-point, the original songs and background music are super-catchy, and each episode offers a coherent, tight plot line. It's also sometimes funny. Sometimes. Also, hats off to the writing on Doctor Doofenschmirtz and Perry the Platypus. They really carry their weight, and are a good work of parody. However, to some degree, this makes the rest of the show confused because it's not parody at all; it's formulaic.Take note of what you're actually watching. After an episode of Phineas and Ferb, have they given you anything new? Have they challenged you or broadened your mind in any way? Now, some may say, "yes," but, for me, it is a resounding, "NO." In fact, in a now 10-year retrospective, I feel kind of robbed by the show, repeating over and over the same formula. The show is fine and all, but after a whopping 222 episodes, I think we can all agree that the show, as a whole, was pretty underwhelming.Of course, there are exceptions to the rule, and some episodes elicit surprisingly insightful societal commentary. But these are far and few between, with most episodes cut from the same cloth, generated by the same Mad Libs-esque script. The animation is also not very impressive, with most characters seen from the same angle in every single shot, and horrible or bland character designs (I'm looking at you, triangle-faced Phineas and Shovel-faced Isabella).Remember when I said before it was sometimes funny? Just bear in mind that most people will watch most Phineas and Ferb episodes with a blank stare for the full 13 minutes, not really feeling or saying anything.Bland characters, sub-par animation, and most of all, a tired formula dragged over 222 episodes make this kid's show one of the blandest shows to ever run for over 7 years.

I'm sorry for posting my incredibly harsh negative review on Phineas and Ferb. As I got older, I still hate it, but my thoughts started to improve a bit. I know a lot of people like it, and I can understand why. It's at least not as bad as any of Disney Channel's modern day teen sitcoms. It's just overrated to me. Most of the songs were bland, most of the characters weren't interesting, with the exception of the teenage characters (except for Carl). The premise is very stupid. Mainly because it's repetitive. It's not the most unoriginal premise I have ever heard, it just got old very quick. It feels more like if it was over 104 days of summer vacation. That's why I think Phineas and Ferb is overrated. I feel sorry for Candace. I think she deserves better. I like the animation. The character designs look nice, except for the designs of Phineas, Ferb, Isabella, Dr. Doofenshmirtz, and Major Monogram. I'm very sorry for my harsh hatred to Phineas and Ferb. Yes, I'm too mature for this show. I know adults and teenagers like it too, but I don't. Thankfully, it has finally ended, and I respect Dan and Swampy wanting to save Disney Channel. I like the two people. I think they were excellent writing for Rocko's Modern Life. I apologize for insulting Dan and Swampy's animation, I just can't stand Phineas and Ferb. I am more than glad that they can finally stop doing Phineas and Ferb and move on to do something more useful for once. And yes, I would definitely rather watch this over Pickle and Peanut.

This show is super funny and has some cool fighting scenes, but it gets very repetitive, but every once in a while they will make some new funny jokes, but other than that, the same thing happens in every episode. They will build some huge thing, and then Doofenshmirtz will make it disappear, where Candace fails to "bust" them. Candace is a bit of an annoying character, she constantly wants to tattle on her brothers, despite that they build amazing things, and sometimes they build it for her. I would like Those three bugs that appear in "Doof 101" to have their own show, they were one of the funniest things in this show.I would recommend this to everyone, it is funny and a great show.

Yes! We all know Phineas and Ferb. We all know what it is about, the characters, the plot. So, what can we say that it hasn't been said, when, after 8 years, the show is finally coming to an end?Just one word: Thanks.Phineas and Ferb is definitely the best Disney show of all time, at least since the Disney Channel era. Created by Dan Povenmire and Jeff "Swampy" Marsh, it's not only a clever animated sitcom, with lovely characters, catchy and very professional songs and well- written episodes, but it also has life lessons, important messages, a VERY smart humor, incredible parodies and an enviable character development. Oh, and some rocking guest stars too!It has everything a show needs to leave a good and deep mark in all our hearts. Just two boys, one teenager, a mad doctor and a platypus did all this.Even when this cartoon has a formula, it is also positive, why? Because it allows the scriptwriters to write and concentrate in more important things, like character development, dialogues, jokes, songs, etc. When this show came out, in 2007, most of the shows treated their viewers like idiots. PnF not only didn't do the same thing, but also respected the younger characters and never portrayed them as fools. With this, Dan and Swampy respected the kids and teenagers who watched the series. But hey! Adults were also attracted to this animated show, and the reason is evident: a very good use of old and/or difficult words, awesome parodies and British humor. PnF it is possibly the only show 'for kids' that includes many references to The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and having some of the actors of that movie participating. And still today, after 8 years, more than 200 adventures, a movie, two crossovers and their last goodbye, it is still the best thing you can find on TV. Without a doubt, this show is gonna be in the Disney pantheon forever. An excellent show very appreciated in almost all the world, especially in the English-speaking countries, but sadly hated and forgotten in Latin America, where I live.10 out of 10, and if you are a Phineas and Ferb fan, don't worry: the creators will return in 2017 with "Milo Murphy's Law" their new animated series. Stay tuned!
