Great example of an old-fashioned, pure-at-heart escapist event movie that doesn't pretend to be anything that it's not and has boat loads of fun being its own ludicrous self.

This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.

The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one

"Prison Break: Proof of Innocence" is a mini-series that consists of 26 episodes all of which are very short, most of them not even go for 2 minutes. The plot is similar to the real one. It's basically all about a young couple's attempts to get one of them out of jail. They run into corrupt official, snitches, loyal helpers etc. The whole thing runs for under 50 minutes. The cast does not include any actors from the real series, there are only references to some of the characters. I thought the acting was solid all in all, the guy was decent, the girl wasn't bad either. I have seen 2 seasons of "Prison Break" until now I think and I would say that it's similar in quality to this one here. Not a really great show, but has its moments. All in all, I recommend "Proof of Innocence".
