The joyful confection is coated in a sparkly gloss, bright enough to gleam from the darkest, most cynical corners.

This TV series is one of the most absurd things that I have seen in a while. It seamlessly meshes a basic through-line plot about a villain and some underdogs with absurdities that prevent it from being too formulaic (I won't mention them because of spoilers). If you are not a long time watcher, first time purchaser of a Continue? product, I would go into this one with care. There are a lot of inside jokes. I tried showing the first episode to my friends and they thought that I must have been one some of that space herb.Don't let my review be the only source of whether you will enjoy this show, go watch Continue? on YouTube, listen to their glorious (though dead) pod-cast ContinueCast, watch some episodes of their longer form show ContinueQuest, check out Goosebuds (a book review/analysis of the children's series Goosebumps, its amazing). If you enjoy the sense of humor, comedic timing, and overwhelming amount of 80s and 90s pop culture references from all that free media, then please, support these guys for what was clearly a passion project that they had a lot of fun on. It's a lot better than FullerHouse. Time well only tell, though, if this will be a... cult classic.
