No plot holes, well characterised characters' psychology, simply perfect.

Well that's not entirely true. Actually the story gets very complex at times and you may be lost for a moment or two, trying to figure out where you are and what is happening. But the characters are so affectionate and so lovable that you won't have a problem sticking with it. That doesn't mean they don't have flaws, quite the opposite, which is what makes them feel so "real".The beginning episodes may feel a bit "boring" or at least not as exciting as the rest becomes, but you shouldn't have a big issue with that. Also this is necessary for character building/introduction and other reasons. It really delivers on many levels, comedy wise, drama wise and thriller wise. It doesn't shy away from violence either. Though it's not a big part, when it happens you can feel the impact immediately.Weird, nerdy and uncomfortable at times, this really knows what it wants. Great anime show, that produced a couple of games and has way more to explore than just this TV show ...

Nitroplus and .5pb have a great mind for creating such a good anime.Steins;Gate is one of the most unbelievable anime of the world. It makes you travel across the world lines(Sekai-Sen) even though you know that they do not exist in reality. The pretzel logic of time travel and alternate time lines coinciding with original world line makes it the best anime ever. Any user who gave low rating out there, or said that first episode is boring or said that unintelligent people inventing time machine is wrong. The show can given infinity out of ten, due to its immense concept in time-travel and it can be given low rating due to episode 22. But if there is no episode 22 there is no episode 23,23 beta ,24,25, Steins;Gate Movie:Fuka Ryouiki no Deja Vu and obviously no Steins Gate 0. Every loop-hole gets sealed showing why this incident has happened. We can even praise the voice actors(Japanese) Mamoru Miyano, Kana Hanazawa and others.Mamoru Miyano is one of the greatest voice actors even seen. His voice modification from Light Yagami(Death Note) to Okabe Rintarou(Steins;Gate) has given me goosebumps. I also request the Japanese people to improve their English speaking skills or (to the users) enjoy totally in the episodes 15 and 25. "Steins;Gate 0" I can hardly wait!!!

I watched tons of anime, some great ones, a lot of bad ones. This one was mediocre, nothing special at all.First of all, this was my fourth attempt watching this show. The horrific and annoying dub of the horrific and annoying MC made it unbearable to watch. But I really wanted to give this high rated story a chance and watched it in German dub instead this time and he became a little less of an annoyance and i was able to finish somehow.Steins;Gate is definitely nothing I would be able to binge-watch, the story starts off really slow and it takes 5 episodes to actually make any plot-progress at all. The plot itself was more or less interesting, the entire time travel-thing and how everything affected the time line(s) were set up nicely and i wasn't able to find any obvious plot holes (i didn't really try to find some though). But having the characters play around with time travel just to reverse everything they've done after is rather frustrating to watch, even though it all makes sense in the end and serves a purpose. The ending itself (final 3 episodes) were probably the best part of the show as everything sums up and gets a proper explanation. Well and everyone ends up getting a happy end (hooray..).The art was not my cup of tea, that's my comment on that. The worst part of the show was the MC, whom I mentioned above. his design was lame and his character utterly annoying, all this mad scientist talk and the nicknames he gave everyone were probably indented to be funny, but they aren't, at all. The longer I kept watching, the more i wanted to turn off whenever he opened his mouth. The other characters have been rather one-dimensional besides Makise Kuris (only sane person) and the time-traveling girl. Everyone else felt kinda replaceable, likable though.I'd like to mention the opening as well, which I found really great, an extra star for that.6/10 because the story isn't even half-bad but the MC is awful, the art sub-par, the humour annoying and the storytelling slow.
