Smoreni Zmaj I accidentally bumped into this series, I did not even know existed, and I watched the first episode with no special expectations. Seven episodes later I admit that I am hooked. The series ignores "T3" and continues on "Terminator 2", although it takes some elements from "T3". "The Sarah Connor Chronicles" can be seen as the new third part of the franchise, which is there to push and replace rather unsuccessful "T3".In the first season, the series does not bring anything new, but is a worthy successor of cult films that precede it, and in all aspects it is more than solid. Initially, I was not overly intrigued, because I had the impression that I was once again watching "Terminator 2", just stretched on the series season, but I continued to watch because in the role of a cyborg that protects John was Summer Glau, which, you must admit, is much more pleasant for the eye than Arnold. It seems that Summer is a family friend of the house of Lannister, because just yesterday I saw her sharing the screen with Tyrion in "Knights of Badassdom", and in this series two leading female roles belong to Summer and Cersei. When you connect name Sarah Connor with the face of Linda Hamilton for more than two decades, it's very strange to see Lena Headey in that role, so the initial impression was very bad. But after just a few episodes Lena will suppress Linda from your head, if not forever, then at least till this series is over. Thomas Dekker is not Edward Furlong, but he is a good actor and this change didn't bother me at all. All supporting roles are well-cast, and there are also some familiar faces from the past, like David from "Beverly Hills 90210" who plays one of the biggest supporting roles.I can not wait to see what the second season brings, which, according to the reviews, is much better than the first.8/10The story in the series is far more complex than the story in the movies and, I dare to say, even better. Deeper characterization is implied because a series leaves much more space for that than a movie. And finally, Summer Glau is not only enchanting, but she's incomparably better and more convincing Terminator than Arnold. My current rank list is:1. The Sarah Connor Chronicles 2. Terminator 2 3. yangcaiqiliu Summer Glau absolutely shines over other people in the show. When she gave the self-destruction control to John Connor, I am really moved by her sacrifice and the spirits of real soldiers. However it is disturbing to see John suspect her about killing his girlfriend Riley. John later get totally lost and upset about the loss of girlfriend. He even intimidate Cameron with the self destruction switch by clicking fingers on the control. This disgusts me. It is not a leadership thing to do. He does not deserve the loyalty of soldiers like Cameron. She did everything she can to carry out her duty in order to accomplish her mission. Plus she tried her best to pursue the values of humanity.

RavenFoxButterfly This is by far the best TV show I have ever seen. I am a big fan of Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad and House of Cards, but T:TSCC has them all beat.I promise you, the story line comes together in the end. You need to give it a chance. I was bored and on the fence by the third episode myself, but boy am I glad I stuck around for episode four because there was no going back at that point. Within one episode I was hooked!The reason this show only made it to season 2 is because people like those who gave up on it on episode 3 really hurt the shows following. Word of mouth spreads fast, and unfortunately those that left so early were not able to see the potential after episode three.Every single person cast for this show was perfectly picked. Garret Dillahunt and Brian Austin Green truly make this show what it is. Who would have thought that dorky kid that played David on 90210 would turn out to be such an amazing actor?? I was floored! He's fantastic.Please give this show a chance. I have never met a single person that stuck around for episode 4 that does not think this show is amazing. I've also never advocated for a show of any kind the way I am with this one. It is truly special.If not, all I can say is, it's your loss. And a big one at that.

CammyP I fail to comprehend why people (especially Terminator fans) can dislike the series, but each to their own I suppose. The cast depicted their characters amazingly well, it really stands out. Everyone should give it a shot for the cast if not for the plot already.Lena Headey did an amazing job representing the bad-ass woman that is Sarah Connor. Definitely on par with the performance in T2 by Linda Hamilton. What I have seen is what we expect from one Sarah Connor. Well done.Thomas Dekker's John Connor. I was on the verge of disliking this character but a few episodes in and things had a turn for the better. In the second season his character was becoming more and more interesting because of Cameron and Riley's influences. The way Dekker showed how John feels and what is on his mind was very well executed. I'm convinced there should have been a stronger connection between John and Derek but perhaps there were plans for this in the sadly never produced third season. Good work.Cameron Philips, portrayed by Summer Glau. Quoting Josh F. here: "... what better infiltrator than a beautiful, petite teenage girl?". Simply my favorite character of this series, or any TV series or movie for that matter (Slightly biased though, ha!). The chemistry between Cameron and John is very intriguing, and left me itching for more throughout the entire show. The "maintainance" scene in the finale may come off kind of 'cheap' but it is an important scene to give the viewer a better insight of what exactly is going on with Cameron, given the fact she is a complicated character. All with all, superb.The rest of the cast did a great job as well. I'm impressed.In the end this show is ranked #1 on my list of TV series and movies and with plenty good reason too.
