Hellen I like the storyline of this show,it attract me so much
Marva-nova Amazing worth wacthing. So good. Biased but well made with many good points.
Hattie I didn’t really have many expectations going into the movie (good or bad), but I actually really enjoyed it. I really liked the characters and the banter between them.
Roxie The thing I enjoyed most about the film is the fact that it doesn't shy away from being a super-sized-cliche;
Mister Gorys This was a good and funny series. A Canadian comedy sitcom about lawyers at a firm and the cases and struggles they go through. I wasn't a huge fan of some of the romantic story angles that trudged on in this show but the courtroom scenes and comedy writing were quite good and well done! I miss this show.
phbalanced Very well done Canadian legal drama series that apparently had not so good ratings in its original run, but the writers managed to put together broad story lines revolving around criminal law, insurance and fraud, personal injury, family law, and medical negligence. Unlike current shows such as Close To Home where much of the focus is on criminal law, here we get to see a broad spectrum of work performed by a young team of lawyers at the firm Young, Barnsworth & King (YBK).The show is made for a Canadian audience with its setting in the Canadian courts with numerous references made to the controversial Charter of Rights & Freedoms. Consisting of only two seasons (31 episodes), the latter season shows off an important Toronto landmark, the CN Tower, and the finale episode leaves viewers on a happy note tying together previous story lines while adding a story about a very popular Canadian sport and utilizing both criminal and civil law. Fans of Traders and Street Legal should find some good entertainment in this series.
raxtonite This CTV show has a special way of balancing comedy and drama. They don't always stay put, either; A woman sobs about the death of her baby at the law offices, and a bumbling plaintiff reads from 'Law for Idiots' as she struggles represent herself and prove her case. If you live in Canada, I advise you to see it. If you have relatives, coworkers, are on Holiday in Canada, tape it! It's an absolute must-see.
LeFreak-5 A fine Canadian production, filled with good plots, a lot of romantic/erotic tension between some of the characters, and genuinely likeable people. Canadian TV has come along way from the days when I was a kid, watching hokey, badly acted, and poorly produced attempts to bring Canadian culture to the small screen. The Associates, along with other fine Canadian shows like Cold Squad, DaVinci's Inquest, and Power Play, show that we are very capable of producing excellent TV that, I wager, even Americans would love!Worth a watch. 8/10
