The movie's not perfect, but it sticks the landing of its message. It was engaging - thrilling at times - and I personally thought it was a great time.

It really made me laugh, but for some moments I was tearing up because I could relate so much.

Great movie. Not sure what people expected but I found it highly entertaining.

Through painfully honest and emotional moments, the movie becomes irresistibly relatable

(Spoiler alert!)I was not excited when I learned of the show coming to television, but after they closed off the initial story arc and continued with new material, it took off and had the potential to be a great series. Separating The Crow as an alternate entity was brilliant and having Shelly remaining on the bridge to the afterworld held the original premise of the show. Also, Demascos was terrific as Eric. He maintained the look Branden Lee originated, and also made the martial arts natural and well-integrated into the action sequences.I only wish the series would get released in DVD so I could see the episodes again.

I agree...mark dacascos is AWESOME with a capital A... i think if brandon was still alive and wanted out of the(crow)series i think he would have chosen mark to be his successor.....you look at the 2 guys and you could almost swear the 2 guys are clones...and both are total bad asses..... i watched the series from pilot to finish i love the series and i love how they used the original plot but extended it to include the hunt and the capture and killing of each individual who did eric and shelly wrong....James O'barr created an awesome character in eric draven and becouse of eric i learned of the various other crow incarnations i cant wait till the crow lazerus comes out and the crow about the farmers wife.....those 2 stories were another good story lines in the series

I think the series would have been better, if they made it in an "Outer Limits" style. I mean that every episode should have told the story of another Crow. Three movies , three different Crows. I always thought that a Crow has to leave, when their mission of taking revenge is completed. But in that series Eric Draven seems to be paid by the Police. And, why does he change into the Crow? Eric Draven made his Make-Up on his own, the guy in the second film got his one from Sarah and in the third film it burned itself into his face, while he was sitting on Old Sparky. The series is also too sunny, don´t you think? Thank god this show was cancelled, but if they ever want to make another series, I hope they do it the "Limits"-way.

I saw this series only a handful of times. I tuned in because I heard the extraordinary Bobbie Phillips was going to be on. I thought her character was wonderful-she played it perfectly too! I watched for the next several weeks (of course hoping Bobbie would be on). Some of the episodes were interesting, others forced me to change the channel. I think after Brandon Lee in the original, it's hard to continue with the "Eric Draven" character. Bobbie's character as the VERY FIRST FEMALE CROW would have been more original and interesting to continue the story of THE CROW.
