Synopsis

The Glass House was a half-hour Australian comedy talk show which screened on the ABC from 2001 to 2006. It was hosted by stand-up comedian Wil Anderson, and co-hosted by fellow television and radio comedians Corinne Grant and Dave Hughes. Two additional guests joined the regular cast each week, including musicians, politicians, actors, radio personalities and other celebrities of varying calibre, such as Young Australian of the Year winners and Olympic athletes. Regular guests included comedians Adam Spencer and Akmal Saleh, netballer Liz Ellis, Play School host Rhys Muldoon, musician Pinky Beecroft, and music critic Molly Meldrum. The show thrived on taking regular shots at, among others, Shannon Noll, Amanda Vanstone, Naomi Robson, Shane Warne and Peter Costello. The format of the programme is similar to that of the BBC series, Have I Got News for You. The show was pre-recorded in front of a live audience in the ABC's Sydney studio on Tuesday evenings. During the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, the show was taped inside the Melbourne Town Hall. The program initially screened on Friday nights, but suffered from an inconsistent timeslot, resulting in humorous TV spots, for example 9:30 Friday...probably. In 2005, The Glass House shifted to a more reliable timeslot on Wednesday at 9:35pm.

Steineded How sad is this?
Janis One of the most extraordinary films you will see this year. Take that as you want.
rowie_star Ever since I heard Wil Anderson and Adam Spencer on Triple J in the morning I have been in love. Wil Anderson is cute and is the typical Australian comedian. He is the main man of she show and sits in the middle of the panel with his pluggers (thongs, flip flops) on. Corrine Grant is one of Australia's best female comedians who I think represents the average Australian female that has a sense of Humour. Dave Hughes, well what can I say, how can you not love the guy. He enjoys being the baby of the group and usually says things that just have you on the floor or finding you need to change your pants. Keep an eye out for episodes that contain Arj Barker, Molly Meldrum, Pinky and many other regulars that are on the show and just create a hilarious environment. It is about time people take all the events of the news and just have a laugh, we would go crazy without these guys! Keep up the good work Glass House and the ABC!!
OddlyEnough The Glasshouse is a great show with 3 excellent comedians (Wil Anderson, Corinne Grant and Dave Hughes) not afraid to put themselves in the firing line by revealing embarrassing things about themselves and telling it how they see it. The guests have included other comedians, musicians, journalists, actors, TV personalities and sports stars making the show always interesting. On a good night the show is 30mins of making you laugh so hard your face hurts, and its always funny and always worth watching. However if you are easily offended, this show may not be the one for you. You won't agree with everything they say but remember that its comedy and everyone needs to laugh every now and then. But be warned, as they say "You'll come for the comedy, you'll stay for the dirty bits".
Quonnie Wil Anderson grosses us out,Corrine Grant makes you smile and Dave Hughes is the ultimate comedian. From Greg Fleet to Adam Spencer to Ben Folds to John Safran the guests are great.best line ever by Dave Hughes:well yeah but...Nahh..-
