Andrew Goss Season one was an unexpected delight. Instead of the expected race based comedy we saw a proper drama in an interesting location. How accurate is it? I don't know, and I don't care, this is a fictional drama, it is mainly about people and circumstances, not about accents and the colour of buses. The strong points of season one have been retained, and it looks like the writers have gone for extended plot lines, leaving us asking "how will that play out?' at the end of each episode. This is not gritty, challenging, or taboo-busting, but it does leave one thinking, which puts it well ahead of the enjoyable but trivial "Death in Paradise".

fnewyork To be perfectly fair, I was very excited at the beginning of the film and 5mins into the story and a few Dutch Colonial Houses and a Red Sri Lankan bus this was a dead give away! No big deal; but why say its India? Did the producers think they would get a bigger audience! I think the Indian community would be just as offended as the Sri Lankan community for this mischaracterization! A total lack of integrity on the par of the ITV producers.The film appears to be shot mostly in the South Coast of Sri Lanka. Galle, Matara Tangalle or some where in that region....Sorry. but very disappointing.WZ

C R Krishnan This series is supposed to be based in Kerala, India, where the main language is Malayalam. However, I think that some scenes are shot in Sri Lanka. I can understand foreigners speaking the language with an accent, but in this series even the natives speak the language with a very heavy accent.This includes the young school boy and the teacher! The reason of course is that some of the so called native actors seem not to hail from Kerala! In such cases it would have been better to stick to English in all the conversations. Why bother to introduce bits of dialogue in Malayalam? It would have been wiser to get some native actors, which would have helped this series. The dialogue is unconvincing and some of the actors are just not very good. Then, there are too many characters walking around in the hospital, and one of them even carries a monkey in, and they are both treated with antibiotics! I am originally from Kerala and was looking forward to watching this series. However so far, I am very disappointed. Sorry.
