missrobinson-84849 I read the book, and it's really good, but that was after watching the show and I still felt that this deserved a half rating. The show is great on it's own, but things fall through for me interest wise. I think it would have been a better show if they stayed with the book story line. They changed a lot of important key things that were in the book. At this point the only thing same thing is the very beginning of the first episode, after that it's just a show with the same names as the book, nothing else is the same, basically they should have just renamed everything and worked harder on the story line and characters then they have.

jennyrowell999 Basically, the first season had me hooked! The acting was brilliant - believable, especially the twins whom I had to check were played by the same person. The storyline never had me bored, I was desperate to find out what the hell was going on...Then it all fell apart! Towards the end of the second season, it seemed like the storyline was being thrown about like a game of drunken tennis! Too many unanswered questions and as far as I could tell, no real motifs for the any of the actions committed. Maybe the writers were annoyed that they'd only been granted a further 10 episodes. They didn't pull it neatly together. It didn't end well and I was disappointed. Like so many great shows that are axed too soon, it had shown really great potential.

ghina M I am really sad that abc has cancel it. It is really really good and addictive show. The story is similar to Ringer but more fun, I used to watch Ringer and liked it but TLG is more romantic-fun-sexy kinda show. Sometimes you can understand when they cancel a show but the ugly thing they have did is that they left us on a cliffhanger!!! I mean please we need more answers :( at least one more season and that's it! I loved all characters specially Emma/Sutton.. I don't like abc anymore they keep doing this.. I hope they'll add at least another 1 season because it is not fair how they left us hanging like that. I recommend this show to whoever like secrets and suspense. Overall it worth watching.

mustseeontv I loved this show, Sutton being a spoilt brat getting her own way at school and at home , while her sister Emma gets all the fosters homes to go to, when they meet I was laughing that the fact when Emma had to act at Sutton that because Sutton is a evil and spoilt brat Emma changed her out to be a nice daughter and friend towards anyone even her enemies. + the secret bad boyfriend Ethan of Sutton was pretty amazing part of the first season knowing that even though Ethan and Sutton were close he never mentioned to Emma that she was secretly dating him. not only is ethan a hot boyfriend , also Thayer, madelines brother. adding to the point if you love this show, you can also recommend watching "pretty little liars" also a TV show about a bunch of teens with a big secret. i rated the lying game a 10/10 i hope you guys do to ! because even though it got cancelled i would still recommend to watch the 2 seasons that were created.
