Don't listen to the Hype. It's awful

Boring, long, and too preachy.

n my opinion it was a great movie with some interesting elements, even though having some plot holes and the ending probably was just too messy and crammed together, but still fun to watch and not your casual movie that is similar to all other ones.

Although I seem to have had higher expectations than I thought, the movie is super entertaining.

Why is this film not for sale again? Doesn't Hollywood want to make every dollar it can off of these films? I wish I could buy it. I liked the film a lot. The acting was good. The filming was good. It moved fast. It was very interesting as it covered the First Twin Tower bombing as well. It ran without commercials as well on TV which made it memorable - I really liked the Afgan fighters and I was rooting for them. I wish the film would be for sale somewhere - my kids need to see this as they ask about 911 a lot and this film would be a good explanation of what happened and why. Does anyone know where and when the movie will be for sale? Are there any bootleg copies around?

A pathetic right wing hate orgy, built on deceit and lies. Approved and written by a former Reagan era political hack, the show had only one purpose: to smear the Clinton Administration and build up Georg W. Bush, never letting the truth stand in the way. This merely a propaganda piece to justify the war in Iraq. and blame Clinton and not Osama Bin Laden.I would have preferred the truth. I would have preferred an honest playwright. I would have preferred someone who could assign blame on those responsible, not avoiding blame on his minions, smearing the loyal opposition.

Full of mockumentary camera wobble. The only thing worse than the camera wobble were the non-stop lies. Actually, the only thing worse than the non-stop lies was the film taking six hours for a plot that could have been summarised in two: President Clinton, according to this, was spectacularly indecisive, and President Bush extremely decisive. Although claiming to be "based on" the 9/11 Commission Report, it contradicts by the 9/11 Commission Report in several important places. And worse than that: it's dull. You wouldn't think that a film made about such a major disaster could be dull. But it was.

This is a must see film, done extremely well, both in acting and directing. At the time of this writing, the film is rated a low 5.9 which I think has a lot to do with those who are wearing political blinders. Over 400 of them gave this film a one rating. Please. You may not like the movie's politics, but it is well made and NOt some sort of "right wing propaganda" film as some critics claim. Two of my favorite scenes involve the border agent who intercepts the terrorist trying to come into the country with a carload of supplies to make bombs and earlier, the tension generated by the scenes following the Muslim man opposed to killing innocent women and children, as he prepares to turn over the bomb maker from the first World Trade Center bombing. Are they on to him? Is he getting away with this? Its great suspense.Keitel is also terrific and well cast as the main FBI agent in charge and it was good seeing Dan Lauria in something other than a "dad" role. He was also quite effective. It's good film-making. And tells a story a good many of us lived through, but didn't really pay much attention to at the time.
