Clever, believable, and super fun to watch. It totally has replay value.

The central idea is interesting, but once in season 2 the limitations of the show are evident. There's not much that works beyond the gay jokes that seem repetitive by now. The secondary character are too conventional, too stereotypical sitcom material.

A disaster on so many levels. Make fun of the Baptists, Muslims or Jews like this show does of Catholics, and watch the outcry! Double standards? You Betcha! Shame on all! The agenda of the liberal PC writers has been given a pass. Identify them for further comments! My personal $ boycott and "jihad" of all involved has begun! The anti Catholic theme is insulting...I am a real Catholic cop (retired) and a former altar boy (not PC?) and again...insulted by the writing of the sick and jealous individuals. Can anyone be held accountable anymore? Can anyone be man enough to stand up to this blatant tyranny? The PC Police and lies espoused, is decimating and hi-jacking our well meaning society. Just say no to this crap!

The first two episodes of this crappola were on ABC last night, and let me tell you, it does not get much worse than this dreck. I suppose it is intended as a comedy, but there is nothing funny about it unless you consider making fun of other people your cup of tea. This steaming pile of crap is from the gayfer Dan Savage, and he spends most of his time making fun of the Catholic Church. The Catholic Church has been around for a couple of millennia and Savage will soon be dead, probably of AIDS, so you pick a side. The plot, if you can call it that, is that this Catholic family (the O'Neils) while seemingly a perfect family, is, in reality, all screwed up. That's about it. Nothing really to see here. I will promise you this worthless show will not even last 6 episodes. Why in the name of sanity would any executive at ABC ever green light this nonsense? Do not, at any cost, turn on this mess.

The reason MILLION MOM'S and the CATHOLIC CHURCH are boycotting the station for this show about the young Mr. Savage is not because it is pro-gay and anti-Christian, but because it is very offensive in every way possible. They hang a Holy Mary over the toilet so the boys remember to not pee on the seat. They make Christian cookies to make the son who is bulimic eat. This show uses every old THREE'S COMPANY theme ever. Over hear a secret on an open mic -- check. Girl learns karate to protect herself and becomes a bully -- check. Girl starts a charity and steals from it -- check. Jesus doesn't visit Christian parents but visit gay son who doesn't believe in him daily -- what? The show won't last. Too liberal. Gets less views than several shows that were cut this year. The GLAAD folks are pushing it so it might get a second season but with the lowest viewership in its time zone, won't last. To me, the biggest issue is it is just not funny. SKIT THIS
