Micah Lloyd Excellent characters with emotional depth. My wife, daughter and granddaughter all enjoyed it...and me, too! Very good movie! You won't be disappointed.
Bessie Smyth Great story, amazing characters, superb action, enthralling cinematography. Yes, this is something I am glad I spent money on.
Brenda The plot isn't so bad, but the pace of storytelling is too slow which makes people bored. Certain moments are so obvious and unnecessary for the main plot. I would've fast-forwarded those moments if it was an online streaming. The ending looks like implying a sequel, not sure if this movie will get one
Celia A great movie, one of the best of this year. There was a bit of confusion at one point in the plot, but nothing serious.
bhlt2 This show is so good! Please bring it back with the original cast. This show is riveting! Tamara Tunie and the rest of the cast are exemplar In their acting. I love this show.
sparvier Jason Momoa was awesome, great story was very realistic on how things of the reservations and nearby town with the ups and down. Love the acting and the end of season 2 was very sad and a great cliffhanger leaving you wanting so much more can't wait for season 3 whoohoo Jason Momoa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And some really good casts every episode kept you wanting more now that's what every great show should do!
Bron0000 OK, I'm hooked. Like other reviewers, I like the slow, brooding intensity of the plot and the gradual peeling back of the characters' personalities. At the core of the plot are universal themes of love and betrayal; good and evil and that things are not as they appear. In the beginning, it's pretty clear who's the bad guy and who's the good guy – even the characters themselves have made up their minds about what happened to Jean's brother. But Jean's descent into mental illness and Harold's efforts to protect her from herself parallels the blurring of people's perception and reality. I was a fan of Julianne Nicholson from August Osage County and Masters of Sex, but I have to say that Jason Momoa (as Phillip) and Martin Henderson (as Harold) are both superb. In the beginning, the former is a scary sociopath (one look from him and you'd kiss your remaining days goodbye); the latter is the penultimate squeaky clean cop and good dad, trying to hold his family together. Then the truth begins to reveal itself and by episode six, the definitions of "good" and "evil" are no longer so clear cut and you're not so sure about what you thought you knew. What is clear is that people do extraordinary things to protect themselves and the people they love. I can't wait for Season 2.
sh37 At first I was a little board. But for some reason I hang on. Slowly but surly I where more and more captivated. The story simply lures under my skin. I got more and more curious about what comes next. And who are those Indians that we Europeans have no knowledges about? And then the turning point suddenly comes and the hole games is changed. And wao I am tuned on. Hoping that the next season come soon. Disappointed that I only got 6 episodes. Give me more. I follow a lot of series. And one thing I really like with this plot is that the environment is so different from most series. I like the fact that in top of a god story, acting and plot I am getting to know something new. Something that I did not know anything about before. That is really entertaining. I mean, I thought that Indian tribes where something your wood only meet somewhere in the west. Not in New Jersey or New York. But then again I am just a European person what do I know.So please come with the next season soon or I get abstinence's :-)
