Truly Dreadful Film

Absolutely brilliant

All of these films share one commonality, that being a kind of emotional center that humanizes a cast of monsters.

I enjoyed watching this film and would recommend other to give it a try , (as I am) but this movie, although enjoyable to watch due to the better than average acting fails to add anything new to its storyline that is all too familiar to these types of movies.

I have no idea how people think this is supposed to historically accurate, as if the White Queen was some legitimate biopic--hello? There's magic and witchcraft in this series? lol. It was always just a fun historical fiction with a dash of romance, cheese, hot guys and girls, and of course, women scheming against each other. I enjoyed this series just as much as the White Queen, and have to commend the acting, cinematography, and production values, which were vastly improved since the first series. Despite already knowing the outcome of the figures in the show, since it is based on history with a huge grain of salt, there were plenty of thrilling and tense moments throughout the whole show. Looking forward to the Spanish Princess!

I read some harsh critics before writing this. However, I personally love this more than The White Queen. Because I can feel the greater role and impact of Lizzie's compared to her mother's in the previous part. Some people wondered why the characters changed so much from who they were. I think it is natural transformation when you are under the desire of power or revenge. I admire Lizzie for her wisdom and sympathize with her dilemma, standing between her past and future. There are a lot of plots which occupy me completely. And a lot of situations making me feel lucky to be a civilian.

I think the majority of complaints have been covered but....
While I don't mind the change in actors and actresses, I mind the silly time scale. Characters who appeared to be 20 at most in the previous season are now 45 at least!
This has been touted as a 'feminine drama '. Strong female leads. Strong female storylines. Etc etc. Yet the aging process appears to have been most unkind to the women. Why are male characters allowed to age 'normally' while female characters have this silly , over the top jump in age that is very distracting?

I enjoyed this overall, The drama gives a perspective a view point, on events in history, not facts. I loved Margaret Beaufort in this, well played, the dominant female. Elizabeth of York, is open to interpretation on what she was truly like,in reality we can guess, we can imagine there was allot of spirit in her.I do not know how much research the actors who played in this did into the characters they played. Be interesting to know HTTP://www.theghostswhostillwalktheearth.com/Elizabeth-of-York
