It's the kind of movie you'll want to see a second time with someone who hasn't seen it yet, to remember what it was like to watch it for the first time.

Great example of an old-fashioned, pure-at-heart escapist event movie that doesn't pretend to be anything that it's not and has boat loads of fun being its own ludicrous self.

I really wanted to like and enjoy this series. The idea of the series is a great idea but pretty horrible without Jason Statham. But the reason he left the series was for a good reason, so no fault there. The fight scenes are not that well correographed and no where near what the original Transporter movies had in every fight scene before. And during any scene involving anyone firing bullets at the Audi, no bullet holes show up; neither on the car or the windows. The acting is "okay" at best. Or in another scene where there is clearly rain, yet the Audi didn't have a drop on it in the same scene.

!! Warning !! At the time of this review, there is no season 3 (reports are it has been canceled). The problem is, regardless of how much one does or does not enjoy the show, the last episode of season 2 is a cliff hanger. So unless you don't mind getting upset regarding not knowing what happens next (and at this point in time, you will NOT), do not watch this show. You will NOT get the payoff you would like from a last episode of a season or series. Unfortunately you will not get a satisfactory conclusion either. And the new 2015 film (THE TRANSPORTER REFUELED) will not answer any questions either, as its events do not relate to the series.Apart from that, the feel is more Bond-wannabe than what the film trilogy established. Not saying it IS a bond-wannabe, but the filmmakers (of the second season especially) leaned toward that direction. There are still elements of the film trilogy intact, but they are not enough; Frank is written as a can't-fail hero, put through many contrived situations. Thus, the problem with the series is the writing and contrived action. However the action is quite acceptable, and not bad.If you have no problem with any of the above, as well as unnecessary female nudity, then you will find something you'll enjoy. AGAIN, so long as you don't mind the incomplete cliffhanger ending.PS. Season 2 episode order is irrelevant, as there are very few linked events (they are quite episodic/standalone). But certain episodes have to be watched in order: First episode of season 2 should be 2B, then T2 at whatever point in the middle, followed by CHIMERA / EUPHRO / TRUST / SIXTEEN HANDS (at any order), then ending in ENDGAME.Score explanation: 10 excellent, 9 very good, 6 good, 5 OK, 4 average, 3 below average, 2 poor, 0 avoid!

The original Transporter movie is one of my favorite movies so I was excited by a series based on the movie. The writers and casting director totally missed the entire feel of the movie! It's really obvious some producers think viewers are simpletons and by some of the reviews, they are correct! The Transporter was not "James Bond", which was the major appeal of the movie but the producers are aiming at a Transporter/James Bond mix which sickens me! Where is the "broken attitude" and "tough guy arrogance" Jason portrayed in the movie? Instead we have a pathetic pom who grins all of the time. It's time producers stop trying to push 100 pound women beating up trained assassins! I am a woman and this infuriating tend of making women able to compete with men in the strength department is actually spoiling a lot of shows. I know it's just TV but magically making women, ( who always happen to be slim and "pretty"), able to win fights which are impossible, challenges the viewers intelligence! I for one don't want to see such stupidity! Anyway, back to The Transporter, the story lines are pathetic, the actors are annoying and the car chases don't save the show! How has this show been renewed and other watchable shows canceled?

Well there aren't many good action oriented series This may end up being one of themChris Vance as Franck Martin, François Berléand as Tarconi, Andrea Osvart as Carla Valeri (all sweet curves and rocking good when in wicked mood) and Charly Hübner as mechanic Dieter Hausmann. Charly is a surprise.Love the season 1. Season 2... well i miss Andrea a lot. They should have retained her.Epsiodes have punch. Wish they got the numbering order right. S2E2 was more suited to being the season opener. Production need tightening.Anyone cribbing about Franck not played by Jason, get over it. Chris is cool.Recommended.
