Too much about the plot just didn't add up, the writing was bad, some of the scenes were cringey and awkward,

This is a must-see and one of the best documentaries - and films - of this year.

The movie's not perfect, but it sticks the landing of its message. It was engaging - thrilling at times - and I personally thought it was a great time.

A film of deceptively outspoken contemporary relevance, this is cinema at its most alert, alarming and alive.

This show was pretty funny and quirky in the first two seasons. It was weird, but enjoyable and Ellie Kemper is extremely likable as Kimmy Schmidt. However, the show has gotten significantly worse in the latest seasons. Quirky became cringy. I like Tina Fey but I don't know what they are doing with this show. As someone that usually does not mind political aspects in shows, even I am getting tired of the constant bad political satire.

I can no longer take the overly cutesy way over-the-top facial expressions that Ellie Kemper's Kimmy makes. It's not cute or funny. It's highly annoying. Does she mean to go way over-the-top on purpose? She needs to tone it way down if it's being done on purpose. Aside from that, I do enjoy all the other characters.

It really shocks me how most of the reviews on here are written after like 3-4 episodes. I see multiple reviews doing as Such, one even calling it a "brilliant brilliant show" after literally one Episode. I try not to do that. The first season was def enjoyable. The second season starts off well but objectively loses steam halfway thru and hasn't gotten it back yet. I just got really sick of it, the humor gets really old and becomes re treads way too quickly, or the writing gets lazy and falls back on character gags, or just the natural comedic ability of a couple of the actors. I guess the best way to put it for me, would be that this show is doable in small doses. I couldn't binge it after the the second season, it just gets to be too much of the same bs. Oh No!!!! Kimmy is doing something crazy again she doesn't really have a grasp on Bc she was socially and culturally sheltered living in a hole all her life! Oh no! No one can stop her Bc she's so strong willed! Something zany is gonna happen until the writers get bored and try to carry the show on the novelty of Kimmy/Elle Kemper's adorability, Or over flamboyance of the gay character's stereotypes. Very similar to another Tina Fey show, 30 Rock, in the sense that it went on way too long relying totally on the actors to pull magic outta thin air as the written material gets so worn out.

The idea for this show is insane. The show itself is insane. For me, that works only if you have clever writing and good actors to carry it out. Many of the actors in this show were able to satisfy me, however some did fall a little short. I felt like Mrs. Voorhees' character fell flat for me, for example. This show manages to put a spin on the classic "girl gets used to the big city" trope, and turns it into "girl gets used to the big city after being held underground for 15 years." It's quirky, but it gets so quirky sometimes that I simply lose concentration on what's going on. That's why I think this show won't be for everybody. It works for me, though, the humor is enough to keep my satisfied and I appreciate Tituss' character more than you might expect. There were some gags I plain hated but there were even more that I found laugh-out-loud funny. This show works for me, but I can understand why it might not work for someone else.
