Excellent and certainly provocative... If nothing else, the film is a real conversation starter.

The thing I enjoyed most about the film is the fact that it doesn't shy away from being a super-sized-cliche;

This is one of the best movies I’ve seen in a very long time. You have to go and see this on the big screen.

USA did something really unique with this procedural buddy cop show, they made it sincere. Something one Elizabeth says about Neil really carries over the whole show, "when it counts": this show is cheesy, funny, and really hits its important points well. There are moments when the show deals with the consequences of actions and the emotion of characters that are handled so well! There is sincerity and a real conversation that happens between characters when needed and the show really approaches these situations with maturity (even if its premise is ridiculous)
Along with the over the top crimes, ridiculous inaccuracies, and extremely patriotic lead FBI agent there's tons of comedy, creativity, and a good overall story in which we see growth in most of main and supporting cast
Neil (Matt Bomer) is perfect in his role and along with Peter Burke (Tim Dekay), another excellent role, is a ton of fun to watch and has lots of chemistry with the entire cast
Mozzie is going to be your favorite character, Elizabeth is the perfect wife (a little too perfect and understanding at times), and Jones and Diana do a great job supporting the weekly and season wide stories
You'll laugh, feel for the characters, and think "that's the most ridiculously cheesy shit ever, but I loved it"

... on a properly chaperoned date, this might be the eventual outcome. White Collar is a network show so there's nothing to frighten the horses (or the god-fearing denizens of the flyover states) but it has a good heart, well-cast leads and explores enough moral and personal conundrums to keep undemanding but intelligent viewers watching. I like the characters. Against all the odds, I'm already watching the fourth season.For all it's simplistic world view, the main characters engage you. Real life? Absolutely not. But the show presents moral dilemmas that flesh out the facile story lines and allow the main characters to gain some depth. It's still mind candy but that's OK.If I have one issue with the show, it's the contempt that it has for its audience. Most of the time, it doesn't show but occasionally the script reveals that disdain. Do you know the difference between China and Japan? Is the Spanish language indistinguishable from Portuguese? According to the writers or perhaps the producers of White Collar the correct answers are No and Yes respectively!Seriously? The show and you deserve better. These are not mistakes, they are cynical shortcuts, assumptions that the audience will not be able to tell the difference. Even Sam Goldwyn's legendary freedom with historical facts pails before this onslaught of convenient nonsense.Is this a problem? It should be. Does it spoil the show? Don't let it. Watch the show anyway.Addendum I've now watched the entire show. It remains consistently good right up to the final episode which is a cracker. Yes, the occasional disregard for the audience is still there, witness the birthdate of Neil's father's partner (1934? Really?) but the show's strengths outweigh all of that. And that final episode? Wow!

A Review WHITE COLLAR TV Series (2009–2014)The way I watch a TV series is to binge watch the entire series at my leisure. You never miss an episode and you can see at any point, if it is worth your time to continue with it. White Collar was worth it. I would have quit it after a few episodes due to the enormous plot holes, tortured twists, conjured timing and all around TV-ness with it's lack of inventive camera work, boring cinematography, etc., but not everyone is as demanding as me. Having said that, the primary reason I was able to see all 81 episodes to the end was chemistry. Matt Bomer, Tim DeKay and Willie Garson worked amazingly well together, each of them at the top of the food chain at what their characters do. Throw in Tiffani Thiessen who sort of ties them all together into one big rogue family and the heart of the cast is complete. Garson keeps it funny and inventive in spite of his total lack of acting ability but the quirky charm he exudes is convincing, and that is enough. It is inventive and complicated enough to hold interest. It's funny, sad, manipulative and has some incite without being too predictable. Ross McCall, a repeating villain, steals the show whenever he pops up to ruin someone's day. I recommend this show to anyone who likes FBI vs brilliant bad guys into high stakes white collar crime that can get very messy, very quickly. GOT Netflix?!!

White Collar is a good and funny show. It is impossible not to have fun with Neal Caffrey and his crazy friend Mozzie. The relationship between an FBI agent and a criminal evolves during all the show. The schemes they create to solve crimes are incredible. The most amazing thing is the relations between all characters. Each one have a special quality which make you to love him or her. Mozzie is one of my favorite because his nicknames. He is always creating nicknames for everybody. And the most sweet is Mr and Mrs Suit. This is how Mozzie calls the FBI agent and his wife. Initially he does it to keep some distance. But then he enjoy them. I think White Collar ends in time. Maybe if the show keep going the story could become boring and with no news. But the final episode is predictable. There was no other kind of end for White Collar. At least one good enough for Neal Caffrey.
