Great story, amazing characters, superb action, enthralling cinematography. Yes, this is something I am glad I spent money on.

I like series when they are creative, but Winx Club is a cashgrab by itself. Nickelodeon, 4Kids and all the other kids networks decided to greenlight this crap. The animation is cheap, and it felt like the animators never even knew how to draw someone who's supposed to have an average mass. They also encourage skimpy outfits at a young age, so tell me, is this a teen fantasy or a kid's show? I do not think that the girls have superpowers, but I think they should eat steaks in order to gain power! It had multiple spinoffs, video games and movies, so thankfully, I'm in the minority who thinks that this one is abysmal beyond comprehension. MLP:FIM tried to add developed characters along with passable animation. I'm not a brony myself, but I liked the effort MLP put in. Winx Club does not deserve to be watched in my opinion, and I would never recommend it to parents out there.

I can't understand the negativity which is prevalent in these reviews...This show made up my entire childhood and I dare say, who I am today. And I can testify that I'm not the only one who feels this way. Everyone I know in real life who has watched this show thoroughly enjoyed it as much as I did! This show is all about friendship and romance as well as fun. It definitely showed me and my friends how to bond well when we were young. Without the show we wouldn't be as close as we are now. The characters have their own unique personalities. Stella kept me laughing in almost every episode. Bloom breaking down and deciding to leave shows how even the main leads have feelings and aren't perfect. The story is refreshing and tho some might argue its like sailor moon gone to Hogwarts, I beg to differ as I believe it has its own essence despite the similarities. I'm not saying that this show is perfect , it definitely has its flaws here and there (I do agree that they wear extremely skimpy outfits though I excuse that because its a cartoon and children need to be taught that too) but it is really refreshing as well as fun to watch. This show can be viewed by people of all ages and genders and enjoy it as well( I'm 18 rewatching this and I love it.) It seems as if most of the haters have decided to come leave their reviews but I can safely say this show is enjoyed by more people than the haters here so don't go by their reviews. Overall it isn't a stereotypical girly show( at least till season 4). I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to watch a fun show.

What do you get when you mix harry potter, Sailor moon, Bright colors, bodies too thin to be normal, 6 different girls who are total fairies, 5 heroic boys with no heroism at all, and 3 witches you're probably gonna end up cheering for despite the fact that they're evil and that they're gonna lose anyways? You get Iginio Straffi's Winx Club.Winx club is a story about bloom, a girl with a mysterious past (geez, can we have a normal person for a change?) who one day discovers she has a magic power unlike any other, or in the words of the scantily clad Stella, Major Winx. just what is winx? it's a magical power that only so many people can wield. and bloom has the most of it. to get the most out of her power, she goes to a school in an alternate realm, and finds enemies in 3 evil witches, who are planning a takeover of the magix realm.I personally find this show bad. Really, really bad. let me start with the whole "Going to school to learn about my powers" thing. That began with Harry potter, and it should stay that way. J.K. Rowling's Novels about a boy who learns magic at a school was original. Shows and movies like Winx club and Sky High aren't.Another thing is that bloom is given everything. it's so easy for bloom to get away with everything and anything. All the skimpy clothes? Come on! something says miss Faragonda is bi or lesbian, because no school anywhere would let girls get away with that dress code. Finally, the Heroic boys. there's nothing heroic about them at all. they're the ones that need rescuing. however, there's one heroic boy that stands out, and should've been given more airtime...Riven. Without him, this show wouldn't even be considered even the slightest bit good. I personally find him good to be the anti-hero of many of my fanfics.Bottom line, This show ended in 2007 with the computer animated movie, but even that looked horrible just by the previews. Personally i'd much rather watch Tokyo Mew Mew, because that show are awesome, and the girls are believable, and not over-powered.0/10

Im 14 years old, and I have to say that I love winx club. If you think its childish then look at the Italian or British version. Its completely different than the American one! But otherwise, its cool because for starters, although the girls are too thin, at least they don't keep applying makeup or picking out clothes (Exept for sometimes) or going to the spa like in brats. That is a truly horrible show.I also like the fresh escape from reality to a world of (kinda girlie) magic. Even if its a cartoon show about magic, there are some real points.Bloom is from earth, adopted, and unsure of herself. She DID know she was adopted, by the way, unlike in SOME movies. I like the way she struggles with her new power, and I really liked how the witches in the end of first season did get her power, unlike in most Japanese shows where they just keep fighting.Stella is a princess from Solaria, but life isn't perfect, because she failed her first year, and had to repeat it, in her youth was teased for her glasses, and to top it all off, her parents are divorced, so she has a lot of problems. School isn't everything for her, and she much prefers shopping :D.Musa is from the harmonic nebula, a princess in the American version and otherwise not. When she was a little girl, she lost her mom, and her father was so heartbroken, he forbid music (Musas passion) in the house. She is a quiet, thoughtful, and sensitive girl.See? SEE? There is a little bit of reality to it. And for anyone who says they're anorexic and wear too skimpy clothes, Id rather see my kids watching this than many other shows "supposely" for little girls.
