Huievest Instead, you get a movie that's enjoyable enough, but leaves you feeling like it could have been much, much more.
Fairaher The film makes a home in your brain and the only cure is to see it again.
BelSports This is a coming of age storyline that you've seen in one form or another for decades. It takes a truly unique voice to make yet another one worth watching.
Mischa Redfern I didn’t really have many expectations going into the movie (good or bad), but I actually really enjoyed it. I really liked the characters and the banter between them.
Madame Monster A spin-off? Really? That was my first reaction to hearing about GX. I remember watching the first episode at my cousins house and we both shrugged it off simply saying 'eh." 1. The animation is okay but nothing really spectacular. The designs are kind of off. Some characters look like realistic anime people but others look fake which made the character designs too weird.2. The duels feel three times longer than they actually are. Some are short which makes the episodes easier to sit through However when I see that they're are two parts I cringe and pray it's not going to take too long.3. I'm going to honest and say that I didn't enjoy any characters in GX. Maybe it's because of the wrong voice acting or the one-shot roles these characters have but none of them go into really deep fleshed out roles. They talk about a few things like siblings or parents but that's about it. Plus these don't really affect the characters much. Also yes they're pretty insufferable to sit through. The dialog is garbage and full of terrible jokes or phrases that no one says anymore.Honestly this is the worst of the Yugioh spin-offs. I like Zexal more because at least the animation was pretty and had some likable characters. Sadly this show didn't.
pkpraveen895 I do actually liked GX but not as much as the original yugioh , Jaden is a smart kid and plays pretty sweet moves .... but it took me a lot of time to get used to the show without the yugi and his alter ego (the pharaoh) as whenever the nameless pharaoh (the king of games ...) used to plays the card game the episode used to go to the next level In this series you will come across in many episodes that your friends turn into enemies by mind compulsion or etc and then after some episodes they become normal .... the characters in GX do give a lot of value to friendship but not as much when you compare it to the original yugioh It is all about fun mostly in this series but when you check the original yugioh they are serious they used to play the card game at higher stakes ( shadow game ) or take the case of Pegasus who locks yugioh's grand father's soul or deciding the fate of world Even the ace of yugioh's deck Dark Magician was too cool and in GX jaden mostly depends on fusionI still miss the epic battle's between Seto Kaiba and yugi
JuudaiYuuki I can't fault them for lack of giving it a good shot. Yu-Gi-Oh GX is another butchering or an anime put out by 4kids, but honestly, this could have been much, much worse. The names weren't too radically changed and was pretty much the only option in some cases (ask anyone to pronounce 'Manjoume'(although I was disappointed to see a character named Cronos go)) and they actually didn't fiddle too much with the base script. Unfortunately, they still wrote out plenty, and the voice acting was, as usual, mostly absurd. But, like I said, it still could have been worse. There are a few places where they use the concept of death, and the writers had the good sport to reference the Yu-Gi-Oh Abridged series once or twice, to my surprise. The aforementioned voice acting wasn't all totally bad, and I was a little glad to see they wrote out Cronos' (Crowler's) Italian accent, which annoyed me a little in the original series. The bottom line for it all is, it's pretty bad, but not nearly as bad as it could have been. I hope 4Kids continues to improve. On a lighter note, if you're a fan of the game(and thus able to get into the show's plot), this is a good show to springboard yourself into anime with.
goldfun GX is the best show ever. Much better than the original yugioh. the characters are cool and the school is great. it's like harry potter with duel monsters. to whoever complained about changing the names, you don't know what your talking about! i don't want a guy named "hamotoao" or whatever walking around! i want chumley! nobodys name is judai! the names are great just the way they are. thats what makes the show good! its original! nobody wants the old Japanese version. cartoon network is great for having the guts to make it better. it should go back to being on twice a day. plus, the dueling is much better in gx then in yugioh. the combos are great and i can't wait to buy them. they need to make a movie soon! get your game on!!!!!!!!!
